* Meeting time 5:00am and depart right after.
* Meeting point will be at a convenient point in the CBD.
* Carry breakfast and lunch for that day, (on board dinning and a possible stop at Nakuru town)
* On arrival in Kitale at *Saiwa Swamp National Park*, (KWS) we will setup camp and then do
a planned excursion (Nature walk) into the park to spot the *Sitatunga* a very rare aquatic
antelope. We will also visit the *Tree House* if not occupied
* Evening tea / Dinner at camp site and a bonfire.

*Sleep at own will but prepare for an early morning next day.

*Early morning wake up call
*After breakfast breakdown camp and head towards Kapenguria town, get some fresh groceries
and fuel up as we head to the *Kapenguria Museum*.
*This is the detention facility for the historic *Kapenguria 6*. We will do a quick tour and then
continue north. (West Pokot County).
The road winds through beautiful hills and dry river beds, our first pit stop is *Kainuk*
*Then drive to the next major town, Lokichar arriving in Lodwar later afternoon or early
evening. If times allows, we will visit Christ the Redeemer.

*In Lodwar, we spend the night at *The Cradle Camp* (camping grounds)

*After breakfast breakdown camp and head north-east towards Kalokol, (Fishing town)
*Enroute to Kalkol we will be able to see some sand dunes from a distance
*At Kalokol we will board speed boats to Central Island and setup for the night under the stars.
*Tour the Crocodile Lake, swim at Lake Turkana, sunset hike then dinner / bonfire and night
entertainment.

*Early morning wakeup call
*Leave for a short hike to the summit. While here, you will be able to have 360 degrees of
Central Island. You will also have bird’s eye view of Flamingo Lake, Crocodile Lake and Tilapia
Lake. We will also hope to catch the sunrise while at the summit.
*We will have breakfast after the hike
*After breakfast breakdown camp and head back to Kalokol, to catch our truck.
*We will then drive to Eliye Springs and set camp
*We will enjoy our time at Eliye Springs as we have dinner and overnight.

* After breakfast breakdown camp and embark on our journey to Eldoret.
*We will have lunch enroute as we enjoy scenic views of West Pokot.
* We will arrive in Eldoret in the evening and set up camp.
*Dinner and overnight

* After breakfast breakdown camp and embark on our journey to Nairobi.
*We will have a glimpse of Kerio Valley as we pass through Endama Ravine
*We hope to be in Nairobi late evening
