Central Island and Eliye Springs
If you have visited Lake Turkana from Loiyangalani (Marsabit) side, its time to explore the other side. If you have not, it is also a good idea to start with Lodwar side.
This road trip was designed to offer you a comprehensive experience and a life-time adventure. You will have a chance to visit the smallest National park in Kenya, i.e. Saiwa Swamp national park. The history of the kapenguria six will be yours to ignore at the museum.
West Pokot will be waiting to awe your eyes with spectacular landscape and meandering roads. When you get to Lodwar, you will find a busy town with friendly people. This is before hitting the road to Kalokol then boat to Central Island.
